3DSMax and OpenGL


Question

I'll soon take a OpenGL class at uni, and we will make some little games in c++ and OpenGL.

I'm wondering if there is ANY way I could make some 3d models with, say, 3DSMax (or maya, or whatever) and "import" them or use them in a small console-driven c++ applications that uses the standard openGL lib..

I'm a total noob for anything OpenGL at the moment, but I roxx0r with c++ ! :p

I've never seen a tutorial on how to use full MAX scenes.

woa, I won't need to export a whole scene !

Just want to save me some time and not enter all my polygons the good ol' ASCII way in Visual C++...

And thanks a bunch for that link !!
