0 John Veteran Posted July 8, 2004 Veteran Share Posted July 8, 2004 I do :D Though I don't know if I need this, since I can easily download them :p Or is there something else included? :o
0 azcodemonkey
I could download them if the boss would give me the login to MSDN. This order page includes the enterprise version, as well as the express versions. I'd rather get the dvd of the enterprise version, myself. I'm curious if I can use the IDE and target 1.1. If so, I'm going to do that for work. I love the refactoring capabilites in the new IDE.
0 frastodd
Good question. I wonder if the Enterprise edition supports 1.1. I know Express doesn't (https://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=186387).

I meant I could easily download the Express installers, I don't have MSDN access :/ What's the difference between Enterprise and Express, just more/better tools and a different license like with VS 2003? Nope, ALL components of Visual Studio.NET 2005 (whidbey) use .NET 2.0 (Y)
0 azcodemonkey
Yeah. Just read that. That blows bigtime. Oh well! I can still write 1.1 compliant code in the IDE and use MSBUILD to build it, or use the 1.1 command line.
