VanAlex Posted September 24, 2001 Share Posted September 24, 2001 I?m having a lot of trouble setting up an FTP server in XP (see topic) , I?ve done this lots of times before on win98 and win2000 so I wondering if there is some lame security feature that doesn?t allow others to connect to my FTP server (G& , serv-u etc...) PabUK Veteran Posted September 24, 2001 Veteran Share Posted September 24, 2001 Have you got the Windows XP built-in firewall running? That is designed to block such incoming traffic.
