Si Veteran Posted July 8, 2004 Veteran Share Posted July 8, 2004 Hi guys I need to have a cell in a spreadsheet increment it's value by one each time the workbook is opened, but not if the file was not saved last time. eg User opens workbook, excel reads last value from registry, adds 1 and applies to cell A1. User closes workbook, excel saves value of cell A1 to registry only if the workbook was saved. Can anyone help?
0 gaviaal
You'll have to do it in VBA. But why in the registry?
