Dazzla Veteran Posted March 20, 2002 Veteran Share Posted March 20, 2002 The peformance of VPC5 on OS X wasn't particulary inspiring, I tried it on 10.1.2 with 1GB Ram and G4 and XP was pretty sluggish, some apps were also extremely sluggish. This was the deciding factor for me not getting a Mac.

Guest deadzombie
Anyone that saw anything about last months Toy & Games convention in New York would know that most major game developers are officially in love with OSX. They are now starting to developing games for OSX and XP, sometimes giving the OSX platform priority. This is a major change in thinking for the game industry. Since the dawn of time (...), game makers have always developed for the PC as the priority, then ported the finished game to Mac a few months later, as they had time. So anyone that is giving the Mac OSX platform a hard time because of games, you may be eating those words this time next year... (I can't wait until the G5 is out -> I want one as my first personal Apple system)
