Hills420 Posted September 25, 2001 Share Posted September 25, 2001 I would think you would take advantage of having the newer updated drivers for XP than relying on your WIN98 ones. Besides, when you upgrade, it will erase all architecture of the OS and just leave your data intact(Hopefully:) ). Or, are you referring to dual-booting....? David Howie Posted September 25, 2001 Share Posted September 25, 2001 Suggest U collect XP drivers before U format from W98. I did the trial and not all W2 or W98 Drivers work. Got everything working eventually though and it is great but for no reason XP decided to kill the printer port. Could not get it to work :s . Have reformatted and loaded W2k (which fixed all) Have decided to wait until XP has been "run in" and all bugs fixed.
