mart3ll
Gotta be Dreamweaver. I'm a Creative Director and its all I use. Has tons of features... from Netscape resize fixes to easy DHTML layers... its all there. Has a good global search and replace function too... only problem it when it rewrites code structure it doesnt understand, but dont worry about that unless you're creating your own web based applications. You can turn off rewriting too, but its on as default. my 2?. *note: when all else fails, use Notepad. It's free (after the $299 purchase of Windows:ss ) and straight HTML is the best and safest way to create web pages... no code rewriting, all your own. wd40
Dreamweaver rules... I code by hand also but it's much much faster to code in Dreamweaver with the split view than notepad. At least you don't have to save and reload your browser to see what you just did in notepad. Plus Dreamweaver can format your code for easy viewing and I love the template option. All of my sites use templates. Can't do that in notepad. Make a change and have to change every single page. With Dreamweaver I change the template and walla it updates all of the pages.
