So i decided, for your warmly help:

Everyone of neowin.net bbs(registered user) can get Vspire psGmail with the price that you think it is worth!

For example: if you think you want to cost $5.00( or $3.00/$9.00, etc) to buy it support me, ok! it's your price of psGmail!

All donate please to my paypal: [email protected] (paypal account), and don't forget to send a mail to me with your regname, hardware fingerprint and your neowin bbs name.

psGmail is a small trayicon application that allows you to check your Gmail account e-mail from a normal POP mail client (such as Outlook2000/2003, Mozilla Thunderbird, etc). Unlike standard email accounts which allow users to retrieve their e-mail through a POP mail client, Google's Gmail can normally only be checked on the web now. With psGmail, you can use your favorite POP mail client to retrieve your e-mail from your Gmail account. In addition, psGmail allows you to send e-mails through Gmail's service, as if it was a normal SMTP (outgoing mail) server.and it also can send you a msn-style alerts Instantly when you have a new email on Gmail.

Features of psGmail :

1. POP3/SMTP service base on Gmail of Google

2. Instant Email Alerts with msn-style(support multiple Gmail accounts)

3. fetch special email with filter function

4. fetch the emails in special label(eg: all mail)

5. http(s) proxy support, you can use it behind of firewall

and more...

Ryan please update the program so it will work with SP2, I miss hearing alerts that tell me I have new gmail.?:DD

By the way, the problem is not Windows XP SP2, but the fact that Google changed the login procedure. It happened in the same day, it was just a coincidence.

All programs requiring .NET framework use some "Gmail API" released by someone called "Johnvey". You have to wait for him to update his library ( if he ever updates it ) in order for the other programs to update their programs..:))

In the mean time, you can use Mail Notifer, from www.dynadvance.com which does not use that API and is solely based on author's research, not by using 3-rd party libraries and not requiring .NET framework either. He already released an updated version for the new changes. Also, multiple accouns are supported, along with Yahoo and Hotmail support. ( Hotmail support will be released tomorrow ).

psGmail isn't use Gmail API, and it don't need .net frameworks yet.

so i can changed the login procedure of psgmail in my codes immediatly, and it can works fine now!

enjoy it! :D

Thanks, but I have seen this app and don't really care for it. psGmail is much better since it actually serves as a POP server. ;)

I'm still debating if $8 is worth a program that may not be around in a few months, or if there are other free ones out there.. pgtgm has been unusually silent of late.. Oh well, at the very least I am impressed with it's notification and multiple account setup, Maybe I'll wait/hope for the next registration# passs out ;)

The problem is not exist here, when you run psGmail again, the configure dialog will display again, and it will give you a changce to modified the settings. and thanks for your bug report!
