Its possible they might just use Windows 2006 as the final name.

So, depending on the edition you purchase, you will see either:

Windows 2006 Professional

Windows 2006 Home Edition

Its also possible they might put the Edition before the numeral, so you could end up having:

Windows Professional Edition 2006

Windows Home Edition 2006

or just

Windows Professional Edition

Windows Home Edition

It is still likely they might use just Windows 2006, notice how they have dropped off the edition in XP SP2 Splash screen?

My two cents worth:

I think it will be called Microsoft Windows UE (Ultimate Edition) because they are saying Longhorn is the biggest step-up in Windows since the 16-bit to 32-bit change. :D
