icie
Hi. I know many of us hard-core tweakers hate the auto-hide facility in Windows ME and Windows XP, but I have problems with a disabled auto-hiding facility. When I click on Start > All Programs, it takes around 6 seconds to display all the programs I have (yes, I got quite a big hard disk...). I was just wondering how to turn the auto-hide back on. khaos34
hey wususp. :p if yer talkin abou tPersonalized Menus, then in XP, right click on the taskbar, go to properties, click the start menu tab... from here on, i use the advanced button of the classic start menu to specify not to use personalized menus, but i'm not sure of this applies ot the new start menu since i don't use the new start menu that much =p
mortensen
You might also want to turn off Menu Shadows if you haven't done so already... that REALLY helps to speed it up.
