Wisconsin Dog Mauling

Recommended Posts

Here's an article in the Wisconsin Journal Sentinel Online. They are charged with having dangerous dogs (6 Rottweilers) and causing the death of a young girl. She was mauled by the rott's for about 10-15 minutes until the owners found them in the kitchen.

Take a look at these white-trash losers. Their house was condemned because it was so filthy.

I think that people who own vicious breeds of dogs need to restrict them to areas away from children, or else they need to be certified by an independent board that they can handle the dogs.

Any dog can be vicious if given the wrong owners.

Collies are more likely to bite than a Rottweiler but you won't hear about that because Collies have such a good image.

My hometown is about 25 minutes from elroy wisconsin where it happened. It is pretty grusome what happeded. I have a friend that went to the house where the dogs attacked the little girl. (hes a cop) The dogs had dragged the girl around the house like a rag doll or a toy is what he said to me. The had heard that the dogs were quite aggressive. Frankly im surprised that cnn or something hasn't picked up on any of this because of the california dog mauling trial. Well anyway im glad that the owners are being held responsible. There is NO reason for any dog to be violent. What really ****es me off is how some people say they are teaching their pets to defend the owner against harm. BullSh!t. If that was the case the dog would listen to commands and wouldn't hurt innocent people. These people from what i have also heard trained these dogs for dog fights.

The way that dogs act depend on how they are trained, how they are treated, and how they are punished. I've seen some very mean dobermans in my life, but I've also seen some that run and hide when the doorbell rings. It all depends on how they're treated. Although I do agree that some breeds of dog are more instinctivly violent than others.

As a law enforcement professional, I can honestly say that an attack of this type should have been no surprise to the owners of these dogs. Their response to the complaint is bull***t and they should go to prison.

There is no function in society for a vicous animal like these obviously were. Dogs that are used for protection should be professionally trained, not just poorly socialized to the point of being overly aggressive, like these amateurs have obviously done.

People don't seem to understand that the dogs have no rights. They have no responsibilities. They are property in the eyes of the law. Animal laws are written to outline the responsibilities of people who own the pets. I guess what I'm saying here is that it isn't the fault of the dogs that they were what they were. The fault lies directly with the animal owner who allowed, either by design or through inaction, these dogs to become what they were. Any animal owner has a responsibility to maintain control over their pets 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If they cannot do that, then they should not own animals.

If you dug a 20 foot tiger trap in your front yard and the neighbor kid fell in and died, you'd be prosecuted. This is no different.

I hope they go to jail for a long time.

"Clark and Shiflett have filed a wrongful death claim against Juneau County and the City of Elroy seeking $1 million in damages for pain and suffering that their daughter endured.

They also are seeking $350,000 for the loss of their daughter's companionship and $4,000 for funeral expenses."

Seems to me all the parents of the little girl are worried about is money. I mean why would they sue the county when the attack happened in a private home to which their daughter was visiting.

For christ's sake the mother wouldn't even make it to the hearing because she was working. It sounds like they are lousy parents who need to be more aware of the environment to which their daughter visits. If I knew my daughter was going to visit a friend with dangerous dogs, I wouldn't let her go.

Fsucking scum. That girl was so cute. I mean this in a loving way...damn shame.

Most pets of responsible owners are probably smarter than those scumbags.
