dARKSTAr
Well, i've seen all the movies and i think its going to be like 1977, Star Wars was nominated and Annie Hall won that year, but all these years later the movie that people talk about is Star Wars. I feel the momentum for A Beautiful Mind is almost overwhelming, so it will probably win, but 20 years from now, what people will still be talking about is LOTR. I'm just hoping that Ian McKellen wins for best supporting actor which i think he has a good chance of winning. I'm not dissing ABM. It was good, and anything that has Jennifer Connely in it can't be that bad :D at least on the eyes ;) it's just that the academy seems out of touch sometimes. There are many years when the best or most influential movie doesn't win. Just a few examples: 1976 Taxi Driver lost to Rocky, 1979 Apocalype Now lost to Kramer vs. Kramer, 1980 Raging Bull lost to Ordinary People, 1990 Goodfellas lost to Dances with Wolves, 1998 Saving Private Ryan lost to Shakespeare in Love, etc, etc, etc... I'll go with In the Bedroom, although there were better movies than these five throughout the year. Hehe you can turn any movie into piece of crap that way. Take the funny bits out of a comedy and what's left sucks. Take the love out of a love story and what's left sucks ;) 'old fashioned' ... it's based on an almost 50 year old book so yeah ... :)

Osiris
Well I havent seen either, but just seen the making of both, now I dont doubt either would be a good movie, but the work that went into moulin rogue looked like it far and beyond blew away the work done on a beautiful mind, so I hope moulin rogue wins it, and russel or Nicole winning an oscar would be nice, but Denzel washington certainly has a great shot too.
