Kusanagi
Sure you can skin .net, but you need to enable the themes service... plus, you gotta enable the windows audio service, enable directdraw, direct3d and graphical hardware acceleration... all manually. Then, it's just like XP... you'll have to customize it allot tho. To enable themes/windows audio service: look for them at the services app. at the administrative tools To enable graphical hardware: go to the video properties, settings, advanced, troubleshooting, slide it all to the max, and enable write combination To enable directdraw/direct3d: run dxdiag, go to display, and click the enable buttons (duh) ... and there you go! The rest is just about customizing your start menu and some extra services you might want to disable. Cheers, and good luck :D -- EDIT: you also asked about the differences... well, it's like windows xp with server applications, .net framework and the most interesting feature of all: it contains something I would call 'the Windows XP SP1 beta' on it... ;-)

Tim Dorr Veteran Posted March 25, 2002 Veteran Share Posted March 25, 2002 You probably can't change back. In fact, I'm 99% sure you can't. You might find this interesting though... https://www.neowin.net/comments.php?id=3586

UnaBonger
You could Dual Boot.....
CustardFD
As long as you have the system specs to run it and don't mind the boot time :D. Try configuring the system as a domain server..... I would be inclined to dual boot.... You can't garuntee that all the progs that work on XP Home will work on .NET - even with the program on the comments page above.
