Yup I certainly do.. At first it was weird and I didn't like it but now I can't turn it off! Think it was just a case of getting used to it..

What is ClearType?

Clear Type Yes I do, and it's because resently I got eye glasses so, I can adjust the text to my needs... Specially when working on the PC late at nite when your eyes get kindda tired....

You should. Longhorn will have it enabled by default, and there's no plan to allow it to be disabled at this point.

Depends on my screen resolution. With 800x600, cleartype looks fuzzy. 1024x768, cleartype is good.

Not if you use ClearTweak and set the contrast to 1000. Try it; you'll LOVE it.

i just turned it on and it makes all the words blurry, just a lil bit. The standard setting is good. my res is 1280x1024

Yes cleartype is awesome on a CRT, it's the main reason I switched to XP from Win2K.

Yes, you can either get a flat CRT or a convex one. Both take up loads of desk space.

Cleartype is designed for Laptop's and tablet pc's so that it can make the screens more clear because they are so small, but on a 17-60 inch LCD/Plasma you would be better off to leave it without cleartype
