Defiantly
Umm. You guys do realize that Cleartype slows down Windows, right? For proof, just try scrolling a website with it on, then off.
Defiantly
Whoops. Just tried it myself. Doesn't do it anymore. Guess they've fixed the issue in a past patch. (Been a while since I've tried ClearType)

ozgeek
Yep. I turned it on for the first time last night. Running a 19" CRT with 1152x864x85 resolutation. Looks lovely and crisp! :woot:
kagaku
I used to run it when I used a lower resolution, but now that I'm running 1600x1024 I simply can't use it. It makes small text too blurry to read. I do use standard font smoothing though, which is great on certain fonts. Bitstream Vera Sans will be anti-aliased using standard font smoothing at all sizes, it simply looks great.
