[VB.NET] 32bit Icons

Question

Before anyone says this - I have been searching and everything I've tried hasn't worked. I can't get 32-bit icons working in any standard control. I've tried a custom toolbar control mentioned in another post, but there were some things I didn't like about it. The only place I can get them working is in the actual application's main icon. I need them in a toolbar and a listview (report style). I'd prefer to not use any external controls, but if that's the only way, then I guess I have no choice.

I _am_ using a manifest file which isn't enabling 32bit icons (works to enable themes though).

If anything works for you, or you see a guide somewhere, please post and I'll try it :)

try enabling 32 bit in the manifest, from what you've said. I know vb6 doesnt like 32bit, but I'd think vs.net would tolerate them. What version are you using? (2002-05?)
