Help with price

Recommended Posts

There is an Ibook 600MHz 128 Mb ram with 12.1 inch screen for 1499 and another iBook 600 256 Mb with 14.1 inch screen for 1799 which is a better deal and a sound investment

thanks

I would go with the second choice. Its a bit more but the screen is alot larger. There is a huge difference between 12 and 14 inches. Also the extra Ram will boot preformace. But I think the best bet would be to get the Titanium PowerBook G4. It looks hellacool. They start at 2,299

Powerbook and iBook difference is that powerbook supports Gigabit internet which is not available in most places and has s-video out which is useless for people who are not into professional movie making and it has 256 Mb which is same as iBook but graphic memory is 16 Mb DDR compared to iBook 8 Mb DDR and screen is 15 inches compared to 14.1 inches which is much less difference than12.1 inches and 14.1 inches. adn the price is just too high...starting is 2300 and i am getting a 14.1 inch one for 1500 Deal

Personally I think 300 is a bit much for 128MB + a couple of inches of screen space (although 12.1" is a bit small). But it does depend a lot on what you will use it for
