GeekBoy2000
Though I don't recall seeing any notice of this in the subscriber agreement, I have started to receive SPAM to two of my Comcast accounts. These account addresses have been given to only 2 close friends, and have never been used online in any other way via the web, mailing lists, etc. If you are noticing the same thing, please e-mail them and let them know how you feel. Even AOL gives you a choice to opt out of mass marketing e-mails!
john smith 1924 Veteran Posted March 31, 2002 Veteran Share Posted March 31, 2002 you dont need to give it out - you just get a machine to email aaaaaaaaaaaaa@comcast.com to zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz@comcast.com and all the valid charactors inbetween hotmail spammers do that all the time
GeekBoy2000
I'm sure you could be right, although it's odd that of my dozen or so e-mail addresses/domains, it's only the Comcast account that's been hit.

Osiris
its ridiculous the amount of spam that gets through hotmail, It was fine for amonth when they introduced the block junk email optiosn, but I recieved that much of it, it said my junk email ignore/filter is full. So now I get 15-23 junk emails a day
