Big Booger
There's no easter bunny here, how sad.... I used to get one of those cadbury eggs every year from my grandma... Now it costs too much to send 8000 miles LOL BB

PabUK Veteran Posted April 1, 2002 Veteran Share Posted April 1, 2002 No, they probably just don't sell them there. I lived in Portugal for 7 years and it was only in the past few years that it has started to be available there!
autodefe
Easter isn't an international holiday. Remember Japan is not based on Judeo-christian beliefs. There are Christians in Japan but it's not the national religion.
Big Booger
BUt they celebrate many "western" Holidays like Christmas, Valentine's Day, etc... I was just saying easter is not celebrated at all here, en masse. No easter eggs, easter bunny, easter baskets.... It's a great holiday for kids, even if you take the religion out of it.
