b0m8er
Ever since this service appeared I tried to subscribe but did not succed yet. Every time I try to subscribe, when I click sign in button I get this error message (see attached picture). Can you advise me how to make this service work? My specs are: Windows XP SP2 + MSN messenger 6.2 MSN 9 dial-up internet access I appreciate any help.
CrimsonBlur
That is very odd. Have you tried using a browser other than IE? I don't use IE, and it works perfectly for me. That error looks like something on the server-side, wich doesn't make any sense to me, since that would mean everyone else would be getting that error as well... -=[Blueshadowz]=-
Probaly a server bug/glitch.
b0m8er
No I haven't tried any other browser except for IE and MSN (which is basically IE with skin on it) I agree, it's strange - looks like a server bug but - everybody got subcribed - I saw no complaintes here, on Neowin... Strange? Any other thoughts except for browser change? It could have been a server glitch - but 3 days in a row???? No, it's something elce... Especially if you applied the final SP2 to an earlier SP2 version. I clean installed and found new options on the connect dialog I never had before because I upgraded SP2 over the Release Candidates. Just a thought.

b0m8er
I did not tweak windows in any way. As for configuring Messenger - how can I do it - I didn't find any alert optinons in it...? And the last one - clean install - I wish I could do that - but I don't have my Windows CD nearby and won't have it in the nearest future... :(

Toxikk Veteran Posted August 27, 2004 Veteran Share Posted August 27, 2004 good luck. and remember this is a service that we rely on msn for... these issues are probly caused by something we have no control over.
