Sorry to be the one with bad news but this it the answer right from Microsoft:

(my name), we are no longer accepting nominations for the IE 6 SP 1 beta program.

Thanks,

The Internet Explorer Release Team

If you still want to tey out for IE, ieinfo@microsoft.com AND NOT betareq@microsoft.com .

in my experience the betareq is the worst way to try and get into a beta, two best ways is to email the program head, you can find his email on an old IE beta email or answering a survey for a beta which is the best way to get into a beta test.

(own experience) Windows LE, SQL Liberty, SQL 7 SP 4, SQL 2000 SP@, Yukon, DX 9(9.1 or whatever it's going to be) - and thats about it for the latest tests. (some havn't started yet)

Anyway, we had this talk about rather SP1 is warez and I believe SP1 was decided not to be a warez application, therefore, I will say that there is a channel known as #betas and they have a beta tester of IE6 SP1 they still hold up the latest build 1330 and they will be "leaking" all feature one's. (fell free to delete this if has any warez contant).

Hope I helped, ooo.

Its been quite a while since its last big public mention anywhere. Are they delaying until they can releace it saying there are no known secuirty vunrebilities? :bandit:

MS have been patching a lot of IE6 holes recently, so MS may want to delay SP1 incase they find any more. If its slowed down then MS will probably release SP1 with all the fixes.

Thats my opinion anyway.
