-=NeoDoug1=-
Huy guys! I need some help... Since installing SP2, whenever I try to download a ZIP file, it automatically downloads to a temp folder, then opens in WinRar. I always used to get the option to save it wherever I want, but now I can't... The only way I've found to get round this is to right-click and "save target as..." or download it with DAP, but this is annoying, and some sites won't allow either. Any ideas how I can get this back to normal? -=Doug=-
erp
Just a guess; try holding either the alt or shift key down when clicking to download, it may give you a different option or save as dialog.

-=NeoDoug1=-
I'm using IE6. Someone else sent me this link: http://www.windowsbbs.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=21453 but the advice here (about checking a box in file types) didn't seem to help, as the box was already ticked... HOWEVER, it now seems that just going into the file types options may have helped, as I now get a "Open/Save" dialog when I click on the link...! How odd! Thanks anyway guys! I hope this issue is now solved... -=Doug=-
