I find these little apps extremely helpful and they save A LOT of time and clicking PLUS they're free. I would strongly suggest getting the following nice little apps. I install them on every machine I have.

RjH Extensions - (freeware) simple utility that will add a number of useful functions to the context menu of Windows Explorer.

AIRoboform - (freeware)one-click web form filler and password manager with some serious Artificial Intelligence (AI) inside.

PathCopyEx - (freeware) A very simple shell extension that copies the text path of any file/folder in Explorer to the clipboard. Saves a bit of time on all those annoying Browse for Folder windows.

Panicware's Pop-up Stopper - (freeware) best pop-up stopper around.

I have a few others but those are the best I could think of off the top of my head. Take a look at Shell Extension City for more of these gems.

Camoflauge

Camouflage allows you to hide files by scrambling them and then attaching them to the file of your choice. This camouflaged file then looks and behaves like a normal file, and can be stored, used or emailed without attracting attention.

For example, you could create a picture file that looks and behaves exactly like any other picture file but contains hidden encrypted files, or you could hide a file inside a Word document that would not attract attention if discovered. Such files can later be safely extracted.

For additional security you can password your camouflaged file. This password will be required when extracting the files within.
You can even camouflage files within camouflaged files. Camouflage was written for use with Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows NT and Windows 2000, and is simple to install and use.
ActiveLaunch

This program manager gives you the ability to open frequently used applications, documents, and folders from the keyboard, never having to memorize the multitude of hotkeys.

Not free :(

Prece: $15

30 Days trial

To launch a program from the keyboard you only need to call up the main ActiveLaunch windows by pressing the hotkey, and then pressing the keyboard shortcut associated with that program without any keyboard modifiers. You may use sections as regular folders to divide your icons into categories. Besides, sections may be used to run a group of programs, documents, and folders. Best FREE spam blocker and e-mail classification application!

Popfile which can be found at: Popfile

This program rocks. It uses Bayesian technology, which from my standpoint appears to "learn" what is spam and what isn't as well as a number of other classifications. I have 4 different folders for sorting incoming mail and it does a great job. It takes a little while to train, but my Popfile is now up to about 96% accuracy....

Enjoy!

I've found a couple of proggies recently that made my life sooooo much easy!!!... I just love them.... here they are

The first one is called WinMover... is an application for moving windows more comfortable with the the mouse in Windows. If you for example hold down the Alt-key, you can move or resize a window by pressing and dragging the mouse button anywhere in the window.

URL: http://www.eliasae.se/winmover/features/

The other one, DialogMate, provides 4 Windows enhancements that helps in every day work. you can minimize windows to floating icons (unique feature) freeing task bars and tray bars space. Besides, DialogMate can minimize window to tray, or to make them always standing on top, over all other windows. Moreover, DialogMate helps with Open/Save dialog boxes, by providing favorites files and folders menu

Not meaning to burst your bubble, but...

Camouflage v1.2.1 is an incredibly weak steganography tool for Windows. It can use various image files and doc files as a carrier to hide arbitrary data inside of. It has been broken by a number of researchers, so you would be pretty stupid to use it. See http://guillermito2.net/stegano/camouflage/ as an example of how to break it.

    • Anthropic launches Claude Fable 5, a state-of-the-art AI model that beats OpenAI's GPT-5.5 by Pradeep Viswanathan Back in April, Anthropic announced Claude Mythos Preview, a frontier model with state-of-the-art coding capabilities. Due to the cybersecurity implications that would occur due to the availability of such a powerful model, Anthropic made it available to only a select set of companies around the world. The company's plan was to prepare appropriate guardrails before releasing such a powerful model to everyone. Now, after nearly two months, Anthropic announced Claude Fable 5, its most capable AI model yet for general users. The company also announced Claude Mythos 5, the same underlying model as Fable 5, but with safeguards lifted, making it more suitable for selected cybersecurity and biology use cases. Claude Fable 5 sits a tier above its Opus models and it beats most other generally available models across areas including software engineering, knowledge work, vision, scientific research, and long-running autonomous tasks. To prevent model misuse, when Claude Fable 5 detects certain requests related to cybersecurity, biology, chemistry, or model distillation, the request will be routed to the Claude Opus 4.8 model. Anthropic claims that these safeguards trigger in less than 5% of sessions on average. However, for large organizations working on critical software, Claude Mythos 5 can be availed through Project Glasswing. Later, Anthropic has plans to expand access through a broader trusted access program. As you can notice in the benchmarks above, Fable 5 and Mythos 5 are state-of-the-art on most key AI benchmarks and they are well ahead of OpenAI's frontier model, GPT-5.5. For example, Fable 5 is the new state-of-the-art model for vision tasks. Also, Mythos 5 has the strongest cybersecurity capabilities of any model in the world. Claude Fable 5 and Claude Mythos 5 are priced at $10 per million input tokens and $50 per million output tokens, which is less than half the price of Claude Mythos Preview. Another big change is that Anthropic is making a change to the way they handle business customer data for both Fable 5 and Mythos 5 models. The company will now require 30-day retention for all traffic on both first- and third-party surfaces. Anthropic promises that it won't use the data to train Claude models, instead it will use it against complex and novel attacks. Claude Fable 5 is available today on the Claude API and consumption-based Enterprise plans. It is also included at no extra cost for Pro, Max, Team, and seat-based Enterprise customers from today through June 22. After that, users on those plans will need usage credits to continue using Fable 5, unless Anthropic extends the included access window based on capacity. Developers can access Fable 5 through the Claude API using the claude-fable-5 model name.
