Rage Posted July 25, 2001 Share Posted July 25, 2001 My best guess would be that it could possibly be the firewall that Windows XP uses. I know when I have a firewall set up on my Win2K machine, ICQ sometimes has trouble connecting and remaining connected. This would probably be because when the ICQ server tries to connect to the ICQ client to show what users are online, the firewall blocks the connection request and ICQ becomes disconnected.
