Yeah, it did the same thing to me also. I don't know about any of you, but I'm getting sick of the messenger service always having problems. Sure it's free and all, but shouldn't they at least keep it somewhat stable? :ermm:

It seems like they are down for maintinence all the time. In addition, no other IM service to my knowledge does this; maybe it is good in the long run, maybe it's bad.

I agree.. microsoft should get this sorted out because hte "minor difficulties" ... etc have been affecting the service for months now... and I guess everyone will remember that major outage not so long ago..... it's friggin bad :s ...

'One' is not impressed with this level of service !:p :p :p :p

Yeah. It would be nice if I could go on MSN and not have to worry about getting kicked in the middle of a conversation. As far as I can remember, it never really used to do this back when they didn't have thier .NET and Windows XP. What went wrong? :p :dead:

Weird... for me, just now, out of no where, it signed me back in...and now it works! Someone should start a bet to see how long it will last before another "maintinence" is scheduled :D :p

If you look at the side frame of the main Neowin page, there is one catagory named "Microsoft Links" (you have to scroll down) and in that catagory, there is a link to a page called ".NET Service Status". This page should give you details on the status of .NET Messenger Service and .NET Voice Service. This page is updated two hours or if any change in status occurs. I hope this helps.
