Deryck
I am very sure Microsoft BOB exists even though I have never used it. In fact, there was a website, set up by Microsoft, to celebrate the demise of "Clippy" (Office assistant which exist in Office 97 and 2000, it is off by default in XP [2002]) and there were a set of comic Macromedia Flash files on the "life" of Clippy. In one movie, I think the first one, it mentions of Microsoft BOB so possibly proof that it did exist. The Macromedia files are at http://www.microsoft.com/office/clippy/.
