VPU recoverer in NVIDIA

I m using a FX5900XT with 65.73, I remember that when ATI launched 9600XT & 9800XT there was a thing called VPU recoverer, which automatically restes the GFX card drivers in case of a problem so that at the extreme bad case, the game would crash ot desktop but not give a BSOD

Now, is this feature also available in Nvidia cards, & in the current drivers or something like these features

Also, Since OpenGL 2.0 is released finally, does the FX serias support OpenGL 2.0, the current drivers show that the I m using OepnGL 1.5.2 (nvoglnt.dll)

a few days back NFS undergroun crashed, but insted of BSOD, i just went to desktop, so I was wondering if this feature is availale in NVIDA FX 5900XT/5700 & current drivers

actually gpu recover on ati cards can restore gpu operational state, so game will continue, there will be black screen for few seconds and then it returns to game.
