Hotmail Glitch ?

Recommended Posts

I get a server busy message as I try to log into Hotmail.

upon further investigation, Hotmail is having a "Glitch".

Some Microsoft Hotmail users are unable to access their accounts, a Microsoft representative confirmed on Friday.

Microsoft attributed the partial outage of the Web-based e-mail service to a problem with one of the Hotmail servers. Some Hotmail users could expect longer login times or error messages due to the server problem.

The representative insisted that the outage only affected a small number of users and that Microsoft was working to resolve the situation as soon as possible.

this is a trick i found works every time- i know it works under 2k- it should work for everything. If you get like an error, then try to login- and it says. net is not available- then go ctrl-alt-del and click task manager- then end msnmsgs.exe- msn. go start, programs, and click messenger- and eh voila- it works.

According to the web-based error message its not one of the web servers, but one of the database servers.

If it is only a small number of users, why are all three of my accounts that were signed up over a year apart unavalible?

They always say that, makes it sound better for them, the fact is www.hotmail.com redirects to lc3.law13.hotmail.passport.com or lc2.law13.hotmail.passport.com , and I guess that server is slighty fecked up, anybody know any other hotmail hostnames that don't have law13 in the hostname, as we may be able to get in via this, as when something similar happened before it is what I done, I know there are some more, as I remember using them.

They've made a change to HTTP mail: its no longer downloading the item when I click on it. It started it about 1-2 weeks ago and is very annoying.
