What level of programming knowledge do you have from other languages?

What version of VB are you using (VB6 or .NET)?

What sort of programs are you looking to create?

Your best bet would be to check out some tutorials (search google for VB tutorials) and start from there

Buy a book if you're keen to do that

Start with simple programs, learn to declare and use variables in console progs(.NET only not VB6), then move onto simple file handling and using containers. You'll soon pick it up.

Oh and always ask for help here, there are plenty of people on hand to give advice should you need it

yes, neowin is gr8 for programming answers, but i've learnt through my experiences to try google first.
