Just curious here. my 1mb line gets turned on, on the 11th *tomorow*

does this mean tonight at 00.01 i can plug my ADSL modem in ? :unsure:

Or does it just depend on who im with?

BULL DOG DSL / BT LINE

Depends when they activate it, It could be anytime tommorrow. Be Patient.

mine was activated 2 days before the date (nildram)

so just keep checking.

YaZoR it states in my e-mail i recieved from them a week ago:

> Do not plug any modems or filters on the line until the installation date

> above, it will effect our checking of your service and may lead to a

> delay.

Or is this just silly talk ? :|

its cool to plug everythign in now on your dsl line, and just keep your eye on that synch light :) it may wel be activ enow, mine took 2 days. Depends on how busy BT are in your area.

Im waitign for my regrade from 512k to 1024k , its due to happen on wednesday, but hopefully itle come sooner

I just plug in and hope! Last time when I had DSL, I connected everything up the night that it arried. My parents told me not to 'cause of the "activation date" but I did it anyway, and it worked! YEAH!!!

That's the nice thing about Comcast... we've been with them for years - Lansing, Michigan; Marietta, Georgia; Dallas, Georgia - and have had great service. Thing is, with Comcast, they give you a set date when you call them as to when they'll come out. On that day, they come out, hook everything up, turn it on, and when they leave, you're online :)
