drewster2100
could someone code a program to do this? or tell me if its possible? thanks! ladr
hurting101
You could go into the high contrast color scheme and try to make it look like that... but won't work for images
Arpit
It can be done using PowerStrip...I've done it before...looks cool, but hurts eyes after a while though...
BananaMan
You can invert the display with Powerstrip, works with everything from games to just apps. Find it at www.fileforum.com Why do you want to invert the screen though? lol

Tim Dorr Veteran Posted April 7, 2002 Veteran Share Posted April 7, 2002 hmm that'd be interesting to do with DirectX. Who knows the performance hit though.. Lemma ask my directX wizard in the hall in the morning and we'll see what he says :D

Tim Dorr Veteran Posted April 7, 2002 Veteran Share Posted April 7, 2002 well, it looks like powerstrip does it anyways, so my work is done here :D
CustardFD
Its much easier than powerstrip: all you need to do is invert the gamma curve in your display settings....

Problem is, most video card drivers don't offer than in the display settings, I know I've never seen or heard of any display settings offering that yet, except yours of course :)
Tim Dorr Veteran Posted April 7, 2002 Veteran Share Posted April 7, 2002 wow, just tried this out. must say, it's very cool. I think i'll use it during the nighttime hours when my roommate's trying to sleep. it keeps the brightness down a bit...
