Hunter
You know how you get prompted to send an error report everytime something crashes, well you can turn that off. Goto system in control panel and then advanced, then error reporting button, then disable error reporting. It always annoyed me, maybe somone feels the same way I do. Jon
More importantly (for me), how do you redirect these error messages... I've disected them as much as I can, and if it the same as office XP corporate error reporting, then to redirect it, you have to manually add regestry keys. there isn't simply a key that says a MS server which u can change. Guess I'm gonna have to wait for docs Jon
PabUK Veteran Posted October 6, 2001 Veteran Share Posted October 6, 2001 Yay thanks for this info, I had not noticed this option before. Even though I must have seen that 'Error Reporting' button many times before, doh! :old:
altezza Veteran Posted October 6, 2001 Veteran Share Posted October 6, 2001 I would never send anything to MS. I turned off error report feature and most importantly I never use Windows update. I don't even go to MS site. Something evil inside
