hurting101 Posted April 10, 2002 Share Posted April 10, 2002 I believe net send is a service, not a program. If it is disabled in services.msc you can't send / recieve messages. I don't think this is related to windows messenger / MSN in any way. But win9x doesn't have the net send stuff.. I think it's only XP? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Despite the name it's not related to microsoft's Windows Messenger chat/IM program. If I'm not mistaken Win98 had something similar called WinPopup.
