em_te Posted September 23, 2004 Share Posted September 23, 2004 After installing SP2, I noticed that all the "zones" (Internet, Intranet, Trusted, Restricted) on my computer have been set to some Custom Level. Before they were all set to the Default Level. I assume that SP2 did something to the zones to strengthen security. But now that they are all custom, I cannot check whether someone has fiddled with my settings or not. (Before I just check that Internet was on medium-high, Trusted was on medium, etc.) Does anyone know if it is safe to reset my zones to the Default levels? Do I lose the security strength of SP2?
