Anybody that thinks the gecko engine is the best is nuts. That crash & burn POS!! I'd rather use the IE engine, but I won't because I DO use the best engine and that is Opera's.  :p

Are you insane? The Gecko engine is the second best engine out there next to WebCore (in terms of standards compliancy). In speed, it's third behind WebCore and Presto (Opera).

Gecko!

Gecko is generally considered to be the second most-popular layout engine on the Web, after Trident (used by Internet Explorer for Windows), but before KHTML (used by Konqueror), WebCore (used by Safari), Presto (used by Opera) and Tasman (used by Internet Explorer for Mac).

Some moderator should change the poll to reflect the true names of the browser engines instead of adding the browsers that are a result of said engine, otherwise by not listing FF you are discriminating against what I think to be the best browser out there!

Huh? Gecko is listed, how is that discriminating against firefox?

Because it is not clear. They are listing the names of the other browsers on the engines, but do not have FF listed. The poll should be more accurate and list the names of the engines followed by the browser(s) for that engine in parathesis.
