sanctified Veteran Posted September 28, 2004 Veteran Share Posted September 28, 2004 I dont get it, they assembled an awesome team. In fact they played extremelly wel in the second half, but still they keep losing games, whats up with that? They got a 100 yards Running Back, a 150+ yards WR and a 300+ yards and 2 td's QB and still it was not enough, how many teams have those impressive numbers? arghhh, I dont get it Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/223372-nfl-washington-dissapointment/ Share on other sites
kainashi
bad officiating is what cost them tonight's game. that and not enough time left. ;) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/223372-nfl-washington-dissapointment/#findComment-584636478 Share on other sites

axis
bad officiating is what cost them tonight's game. that and not enough time left. ;) Basically, they didn't play well enough. Officials never determine the outcome, there are always plays that could have changed the game, well before a bad call by an official. kak
Dallas's first TD should not have happened. There was no defensive pass interference, the receiver pushed him down. There should have been a pass interferenc on Dallas in the 4th .. not called. The very last play could have been helmet to helmet since he didn't move after he caught the ball .. they didn't call that either. Was a good game, but the officiated did suck. The skins should have scored when it was 1st & 1 on the 1. Oh well. Actually, that is incorrect. Since the receiver had possession of the ball, that kind of hit is allowed. It was explained clearly after the game. Yeggstry
Officials never determine the outcome. Also, stop playing/supporting such a pansy game, our england world cup rugby team would wipe the floor with your armored-to-the-hilt team in a PROPER game. That's nice, but we are talking about football, not soccer here. ('Soccer' is used here at Neowin to differenciates the two sports) And do what [sanctified] said.
