Roger H. Veteran Posted April 12, 2002 Veteran Share Posted April 12, 2002 i had 1GB of PC133 then a 256MB stick blew leaving only 768MB but then i upgraded my mobo to a DDR memory board and memory jumped so i only have 256MB DDR266 (PC2100) now :( I am hoping to get another 256MB stick to make it to 512MB DDR but i'd rather have DDR400 (when it comes out) so i'll wait then buy 512MB of that :) Does this mean i talk too much? ;)

Tobbz
I got 512 SDRAM PC133 PQI I got a 256block more, but i cant get it to work. When i have it in, IE and other programs suddenly shots down. Some times my PC wont even start up.. It says: "THE FOLLOWING FILES IS MISSING OR CORRUPT: WINDOWSSYSTEM32CONFIGSYSTEM If i fix the problem, and take out the 256block, everything is working again! It really sucks!
Dazzla Veteran Posted April 12, 2002 Veteran Share Posted April 12, 2002 384mb in my VAIO laptop, and 512 in my newly ordered iMac. I might be tempted to upgrade to 1gb in the iMac as soon as memory priced come down a bit, especially So-Dimms, the prices are pretty extortionate.
