Pascal Coding Program

Question

Alright, this is my situation. I have started getting into programming in Pascal for fun, learning it from College and enjoying it very much. But, I know it is old and I shouldn't be doing this, but Pascal is very basic, and I am kind of new to Application programming, Web programming I can do, but Application programs I am learning now. Iv'e got this big program I want to make in Pascal, but typically, I was using Turbo Pascal, (the interface one) and now its gone bust, unsure why but it won't compile or run, so I spect its gone. But what I want is, a Pascal coding program for free that I can download with a simular complier system to Turbo Pascal, cause I want to write the same code for the same type of program, if you know what I mean. I have tried Dev Pascal, and it uses a lot more different system and frustrates me. So I was wondering if you lot could give me some information on free pascal coding programs.

Thanks.

Borland offered Delphi 5 standard for free for non comercial use a while ago, you will have to look at borland website and see if anything is still on offer.

Free Pascal might work...the site claims on its advantages page:

Free Pascal is more compatible with [existing code] than any other Pascal compiler. We are almost completely compatible with Turbo Pascal and quite well compatible with Delphi source code.
