Snowboarding

Hey

I am thinkin bout gettin into snowboarding as another sport...

I also do Archery ( Bowhunting ) and I am wanting to get into another winter sport.

Whats snowboarding like as a sport?

What country is best for snowboarding and does it snow all the time :D ?

Snowboarding is rather difficult, I learned how to ski much quicker than I did to snowboard. But, once you get the hang of it, it's fun. Just expect ALOT of bruises and embarrasing moments when you first learn. It's not as easy as it looks or some people claim.

There's some spots in California that are nice, but I'm sure they don't compare to other places around the world where it snows alot more and for alot longer. I know Utah and Colorado have some fantastic areas, I just haven't been there yet.

Bushrat, u should go to Wanaka in the south island if u want to try snowboarding - it has the meanest half pipe and you can rent some gear pretty cheap if u want...

Good luck with the snowboarding....I too am going to give it a go - you end up on your ass a lot the first time you start apparently because of the way you fall...its also faster than skiing too I heard.

and american football is for real men becuase they throw balls around :rolleyes: soccer is a much better sport.

anyways snowboarding is really fun you should learn it.
