Hmmm, Use GMail Notifier to receive Emails (Displayed) on your desktop

But, I dnt know how you would get it on your start menu.

You could put a Shortcut URl, going to www.gmail.com

I think gmail notifier does provide an option to make gmail as a default email service/client.

Well there is an option in gmail notifier, where it will handle all mailto links on web.

Well I have most of it working with a few found registry tweaks. I have a copule of problems maybe you all interested could give me a hand with. I'm not sure how to link in the registry to website using the default browser. Is this even possible?

Also am looking for a good GMail icon. it should be 48x48 pixels. I will post a different post for this so maybe I'll get a better response.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Finished

This was a joint venture between SINdicate and I

The icon is the default icon for Gmail Notifier and you can get it here.

gmail3.zip

Also included are a few new search features for Firefox for your Gmail mail and contacts. Just extract the four files to the searchplugins folder in your Firefox directory.

Thanks to SINdicate for the help.

If any of you don't like the icon included and would like the change it but don't know how feel free to PM me. I had posted a different one earlier but pulled it cause i didn't have permission from the author.

Why download an App onto your computer when you can just use a simple registry edit?
