If I see: Signing in to Messenger failed because the service is to bus

Has anyone else had this problem tonight, it's been down all ****ing night for me, it's a disgrace, Microsoft should sort it out, I have been trying for the last 5 hours, and it's all I get

Same here! I haven't been able to get in for the last 5 hours about either. Why does this happen so much?! I dont use ICQ, or AIM. Does this happen with those IM programs?

Aol tends to be worse, but AOL's downtimes are more often, but are normally only for a few minutes, but when MSN goes down, it goes down for longish periods.

But since we had that downtime for about a week many many months ago, MSN/Windows Messenger has not been the same, seems like the people at MS have lost the plot after that, I frequentley get the busy message.

You would think the richest company in the world would be able to invest in enough server power to run the service with servers to spare, but obviously not, I got disconnected earlier, and haven't been able to sign in since
