Soldiers in Iraq and abroad seem to all be pro-Bush, but you must realize that most of those being able to speak through the controlled media (and those not) are largely unable to hear differing or dissenting views regarding the president while serving overseas, etc.. If they do hear these different views, officers are told to punish the soldiers (be that verbal or something else) for even thinking about a democratic feeling in this plutocratic democracy: dissent.

About taxes, stop complaining and grow up. We need to all realize that if the deficit is not brought down soon, it will have a very significant impact on our country's stability, which rests with the economy and the morale of the people (which Bush does a great job to bring it down to the ground). Bush has demonstrated he can not handle either, but he did do a good job when everyone was vulnerable, of course! Anyone can comfort a country with artificial happiness, words of hope, and promises of retaliation against an "evildoer!"

SIMPLY PUT, we have two choices: take care of the deficit now (rise taxes) or deal with it later when it is even higher (even higher tax rises).

A thinking and intellectual person will consider other ideas and possibly switch his own ideas after contemplating what is best; Einstein was an excellent example of a flip-flopper. If you don't realize this, then you have not studied much about Einstein and other great political and scientific minds.

I will likely vote Kerry, but I still question what we are really voting for. They are both selfish elitists who fight for big businesses, not us. If only a 3rd party candidate could be on the ballot in every state coupled with an unbiased media giving people choices about opinions, not telling them what to think.......but that would take an evolution in humans. :p

For those ready to call me a socialist or some other media-brainwashed term, I know that socialism and communism do not work. On top of that, I love America and wish for it to last for generations to come, which is why I think the problems in the government need to be addressed before they get even more out of hand causing the downfall of a great nation.

lol well i think america is more aware of the damage caused by bush,

and yes i think kerry will win,he has won almost all the polls not only here, but in all media

bush will bite the dust very fast,if u ask me

Though, as Bush has more than shown, he really doesn't need the majority of the real votes, only a majority of the electorial college votes and with that he can have the fix in as he did before.

I like Kerry because for one he is willing to raise minimal wage which I believe will help stimulate the economy. I also agree with his views on several things such as homosexuality being genetic and not choice.

explain how raising minimum wage will stimulat the economy? im studying economics and what you are saying is absolutely incorect.

The US is currently the superpower, but in a few years tim eI personally see the EU taking on that role.

As soon as the constitution is agreed and the post of president is made legal/permanent. The EU currently has about 750million citizens, US 250million so it goes without saying that the EU will have the larger army in the end. Just a matter of time I think.

 california has almost the same economy that all europe,U.S has almost doubled europe in millionares.

So, by your logic that would make China the next superpower over both the US and Europe put together?

From what I heard bush said he is trying to make the WORLD a better place.

I hate seeing stuff like Terrorist going to Russia and hurting them children and seeing them get hurt like that, or Hitler what he has done to his people by burning people to the stakes, doesn't matter what race they are, thats why US went in and attacked Hitler

Now saddam is follow his footsteps, along with Osama.

I don't wanna see this world go in the gutter like its been since World War I

I see that we are the ones that gots to take a stand not let them come to us like 9-11. But we gotta go to them and start something because I tell you I seen this one TV the other day a women was so happy to see US Soldiers that she gave them a hug and said Thank You you saved us from Saddam!

It's pretty simple. People earn more money, people spend more money. The increase in flow of money makes the economy all around strong.

i guess hes even more of an idiot than i thought... how the hell can homosexuality be genetic!? same sex can't produce children!!!! DURRRRR!!!

i apologize if im getting off topic with this post, but this is a no-brainer!

584742762[/snapback]

Well, you're someone who doesn't know anything about genetics. Ever hear of deminate and recessive genes? They can express themselves in one member of a family and be dormate in another and be passed onto the next generation by the one which has the dormate genes and then be passed to their children where they could express themselves. Plus, homosexuality also appears in nature as well.

its not that simple. businesses will cut down jobs in order to cope with the extra costs. raising minimum wage could have serious concequences, and now is not the right time to test the US economy, it is not exactly in it's best condition.

Kerry! Even though some Americans (conservatives) probably deserve Bush, I don't wish higher taxes, lower unemployment, and declining health care on any poor ******! Besides Bush is a numbskull, do you really want a guy with linguistic problems giving you speaches? A guy who can't even business, running a country? How much Saudi-investment money did this guy waste while driving his oil companies in to the ground? How many handouts has this guy took from the Bin Laden family? No wonder September 11th happened. It had nothing to do with Iraq or Afghanastan!

He is obviously misinformed, I agree with you. Analyzing the brain and other scientific tests have shown homosexuals have different makeup and brain matter then those who aren't homo. In other words, they are defective. :D

If one can't get enough to buy stuff they won't. Plus the average wage in the US is drastically down during the Bush reign and the true unemployment numbers are actually closer to 10% if you count all of those whose beneifits have run out and they can't found new jobs and those who have just given up finding a job. Around 81% of the jobs created during Bush's time in office have been minimum wage level. In Canada they have kept the minimum wage at a decent level and we still have a good enough economy.

Companies have already laid off many workers because of the economy and outsourcing, they can't get rid of many more else they will be no one left running the business.

This was supposed to be a thread for non-Americans, so no one here should be voting.

U.S population will reach 500 million in 40 years,so that will never happen,U:S need to be wiped ot of the face of the earth for not being a superpower

NEITHER!!

Your media has forced you to believe that the only "candidates" are Bush and Kerry. Kerry is the "flip-flopper" between good and evil, and bush is just plain evil!

Kerry is just the "Not bush" vote. I wonder what would happen if you held an election in which your vote was used AGAINST a candidate. You placed a check next to bush, and that was it, your vote said "I don't want him to be president". The person with the least votes wins.

No, of course that wouldn't work. But thats the way it IS working right now!
