And if i get and use any of these what one should i get and will it make a difference compared to the one that came with my intel 1.7gh?
Tim Dorr Veteran Posted April 19, 2002 Veteran Share Posted April 19, 2002 ASIII, each one is a revision of the last, so as you go higher, thermal performance improves.
username
Yes, its the AC III is the best you can get, but even at that, i will only drop your temps at 4C probably at the most. Are you having heat problems?

username
check out sites such as www.amdmb.com they have a good cooling article someplace there. The thermalright AX-7 (uses 80cm fan) is the best you can get right now but its close to $30. Remember, one fan in front blowing in, one fan (with the power supply) sucking air out. username
I don't know what case you have, I can't tell you what fan you need. Do some research. I suggested a site, I can't walk you through the entire thing. http://www.amdmb.com/article-display.php?ArticleID=132 https://www.neowin.net/bboard/showthread.ph...&threadid=20816 Goodluck
