configure Veteran Posted October 11, 2001 Veteran Share Posted October 11, 2001 That is the defualt settings if you've not already customize your sounds setting. To customize your sounds setting, fire up your MSN Messenger -> Tools -> Options -> Preferences Tab -> Under 'Alert' Section, you'll see a button called 'Sound', press that -> You'll get 'Sound and Device Properties', move on to Sounds Tab -> Under 'Program Event' section, scroll down until you see 'Windows Messenger'. :old:

configure Veteran Posted October 11, 2001 Veteran Share Posted October 11, 2001 There's nothing wrong with that beep. That is the normal beep you'll get with this version of MSN Messenger. The MSN Messenger that included with WindowsXP are v4.0 where as the one you can download is v3.6 :p
