malebolgia Veteran Posted November 6, 2004 Veteran Share Posted November 6, 2004 I was wondering if anyone has configured file and sharing between a Mac and a Windows machine with the Windows machine running ZoneAlarm (firewall program)? The reason I ask is because ZoneAlarm is interfering with the file sharing between my Mac. For example when the firewall on the Mac can?t connect to it, or even see it. The same goes for my Windows machine (My Network Places freezes up and comes back with an error message telling it can?t find the Mac), but I can ping both of them by their IP address. Anyway does anyone here know what information I need to configure ZoneAlarm with to make it so I don?t have to turn my firewall off just to transfer files?
