Ash
WTF? Lol, yeah right, i'd go with Videotron ( in Quebec ) if that happened... That would mean, when a new version of Red Hat Linux comes out at 5-6 CDs, that would take care of about 3/5 of my monthly allotment. 5 G d/l max per month for 45$ ( 55 if that dont include modem rental ) and slowish speeds, and I get dispruptions everytime someone phones here or, I can get cable witch has 6g d/l per month, and runs smooth, and reliably. For the most part I wouldn't care the slightest, but what happenes in months when a new linux comes out and is 5 cds and or I join an adult site and download everytrhing... that can add up, or I deceied, ill download tons of mods and maps for quakes or unreals, or jedi... Bah instead they should make the total up and down speed together, instead of 5 up and 5 down, make it 10 total. As a college student 70$ +tx, is definitly out of my range and would not even consider paying that much.

Well in Toronto, at least, you either go with Rogers or with Bell...and I hear Rogers will follow Sympatico's lead with the caps...(Can you say 'duopoly'???) Here is the official investor's briefing that has the caps and stuff for sympatico... http://www.bce.ca/en/news/webcasts/2002/20...briefing_en.pdf
