Well I normally turn mine off/on daily but I was having issues with my powersupply back when I was working on my final SD assignment last year for finals. Anyway I couldnt turn my PC off because I was having BIIG issues with the powersupply. So I had to leave it going for 3.5 weeks straight.

thats the longest ive ever left it running. Current Uptime 11hrs 10mins.

Currently on Win XP: 2 days, 9 hours, 8 minutes.

Longest I've had is about 7-8 days, but I get a BSOD every so often because of the crappy Nvidia drivers, with a TNT2 no less. Never had a problem with this card in 2000.

LMAO @ GamblerFEXonlin

thats funny

Ok

I have a win2k server pc which is currently on

[system Info] Platform:[ Windows 2K ] Uptime:[ 2?Weeks 12?Hours 35?Minutes 11?Seconds ] Record Uptime:[ 2?Weeks 12?Hours 35?Minutes 11?Seconds ] CPU:[ Intel Pentium III, 515MHz, 512KB (0% Load) ] Memory Usage:[ 142/256MB (55.47%) ?(||||||----) ] Screen:[ 1024x768 8bit ]

The record is actually around 7-8 weeks but that moo dll file was installed after.

My WinXP box is about 2 weeks record I think, at the moment up for about 30 mins.

use standby, if your pc is configured correctely, the only fan you should here is the power supply one.

try hibernation too. it'll wake up your system in half the time usually then it takes for a full startup.

hehe, i dont really see the point in putting it on standby, tis not like there is any reason for the b0x to be on constantly, apart from racking up a pointlessly massive uptime that is ;)
