Just spilled soda on my WinXP disc

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to clean it off right now, along with the rest of my desk. Thankfully none of it got onto my keyboard or mouse. Its all over the bottom of the CD though, I got most of it off but its really streaky...gonna see if it works now.

That sucks man, but I spilt orange juice on a cd once, it was one that I didn't care about so it was on it for a week and then I wanted it so I washed it off lol. IT STILL WORKED FINE :)

Clone CD onto a fresh disk usually does the trick...

a) CDs have a protective layer

b) CDs can survive a dishwashing (not recommended)

They're tougher than they look, but it may be damaged

Wow, peachy :D.

What about a little soap, luke warm water and a very soft cloth anf then dry it immediate afterwards with a very soft cloth, remembering to wipe it from the inside to the outside in a straight line.

This bottle is like 20 inches high and the width of a baseball bat...why pepsi makes a bottle this shape is beyond me.

one time a friend put a soda on top of my desk (ive told him not to before) then the next day i am moving my tv around, and the speaker on top fell, pulling the one on the top of my desk up, hitting the soda, and going all inside my 19" monitor... still need to get it fixed...
