ideas for selling a computer

Recommended Posts

donate it to charity and write it off as a tax loss.

Ask your friends if they are looking to purchase a PC, and give them a good deal!

Ask the members of your family, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, etc...

Go to your nearest local comp shop and ask them to sell it for you.

Odd ball idea

get a raffle board with 1000 raffles and charge 1-2 dollars per raffle ticket. Once you have sold on the tickets scratch off the winning number and give the PC to the winner, you make 1000-2000, and they get a comp for 1-2 bucks...

donating it to a school or chairty and writing it off is a good one. ask around, i usually sell my old comps to older aol type members of the family so they can surf the net

i'd be a bit careful with the raffle one though, if you sell 1000 tickets its a great idea.

sell 3 its not so cool.

Yer just sell it to family or friends of the family or friends in general. Or a local computer store just go in say this is what I got, what will ya give me for it. But yer I know a mate who runs his own computer business so he buys all my old crap or gets clients too so its all good for me :)
