Here we call it Ketchup, i've always thought Americans call it Catsup. But apparently not all of you do :huh:

Is the word "Ketchup" not a registered trademark of Heintz? I think that off-brand replacements use the generic term "Catsup" so as to not have to pay royalties. At least, that was always my understanding.

In spite of the fact that the Heintz family are republicans, yes some guys did produce 'W' branded catsup/ketchup/whatever you call the sugarified tomato syrup that Ronald Reagan once called a vegetable.

Basically everyone says 'catchup'.
